The h&m Conscious Collection is finally here!
I first posted about this eco-friendly Conscious Collection line by h&m a while ago on our facebook page, which follows in the footsteps of last year's beautiful Garden Collection. Now the 'Conscious Collection' is ready to hit stores on April 14, so keep an eye for this gorgeous and responsible line so you can indulge in a guilt-free shopping spree! Check out a few of my favourites below:
Besides the usual organic cotton that h&m uses, here are the other sustainable and green materials used by the label:
Organic linen
– is linen that has been grown without the use of hazardous chemicals
Recycled cotton
– is cotton made from textile remnants in production
Recycled polyester
- is polyester made from PET-bottles or textile waste
Recycled polyamide
– is polyamide made from fishing-nets or textile waste
Recycled wool
– is wool made from worn-out woollen garments and remnants of fabric
Tencel
- silk-like, renewable material which has been produced with minimized environmental impact.
The collection is, as usual, very reasonably priced and very affordable and is available for both women and men and kids as well, so there's something for everyone!
